Pressure Washing & Sealing FAQs
How long does concrete, paver, or natural stone sealing last?
Most sealers can last anywhere from 2–5 years, depending on the surface, amount of traffic, weather exposure, maintenance, and type of sealer used.
Do you clean the surface before sealing?
Yes. Proper cleaning is one of the most important parts of the sealing process. We remove dirt, grime, algae, mildew, and surface buildup before applying sealer. Stain treatment may also be performed when needed.
Do you replace polymeric sand between pavers?
Yes. When needed, old or damaged joint material can be cleaned out and replaced with fresh polymeric sand before sealing. This helps stabilize the joints and gives the surface a cleaner finished appearance.
What sealer finishes do you offer?
Depending on the surface, we offer natural-look, semi-gloss, and gloss finishes. We can help recommend the best option based on the appearance and level of protection you want.
Can you add grip to a sealed pool deck?
Yes. A grip additive can be added to compatible sealers for pool decks, patios, walkways, and other areas where extra traction may be beneficial.
How long before I can use the surface after sealing?
Cure times vary depending on the sealer, surface, temperature, and weather conditions. Foot traffic is typically allowed sooner than vehicle traffic. We will provide specific instructions after your project is completed.
